John and Jane Wright - your hosts at Shed Pottery RB

John has been a potter for most of his adult life. His interest in clay began in a summer camp class where he first made a little animal. He loved the idea of making something 3D- something tactile that he could pick up and feel. Fifteen years later John took some serious pottery classes and he’s been muddying around ever since. He enjoys teaching adult pottery classes and working in his studio in British Columbia. Shed Pottery RB is an exciting new venture for “Pottery John”.

Jane is a retired school teacher with a penchant for art of all kinds, whether it be creating a flower garden, cooking a delicious meal, learning to play piano, cross stitching and occasionally getting her hands muddy with clay. At Shed Pottery RB Jane loves displaying John’s work, keeping the studio organized and meeting all the interesting people who come visit. She is excited to be involved in such a unique opportunity.
